Angel Being

Rise up all you angels shine light on the now
Create a path for them to know how.
Rise up all you angels in the light of the moon
Know in your heart's they will understand soon
Sparkle in the dark, give a glimpse of true love
Gather and condense energy's from above
Acknowledge your power from within your spirit
And sing it out loud so all can hear it
Shatter the shadows with frequency so fast
So forgiveness of wrongs will heal the past
Change perceptions of the how's and the why's (wise)
Let them know we have heard their cries
Rise up all you angels you know who you are
Trust in your heart, we are from one star
Realize that your different no better at all
Let your wings open wide and you will never fall
Embrace the resistance know you'll soar high
Beam your true glow and never ask why

Live life to your fullest Keep Well and Warm
Healthy Blessings

Bright Star Night

Out of the deep, black, abyss of night,
A Bright Star appears - sparkling bright,
It becomes my prayer focus
Though meditation is difficult
On this air mattress - more like a water bed!
Star upon the Ocean!
Into Infinite spaces
Star light to my heart,
Sunshine in the morning,
Starlight at night,
Cinco de Mayo - Virgin of Guadalupe,
This is the robe you wear,
My heart beats in rhythm of prayer,
Circle of day and night
Breath prayer exhaling Peace
Sleep comes in the breezes
That Spirit Wind blows

Sister Rosemarie

About the Book:

"Join the cloister and see the world," my sister remarked. One walks through a Monastery door longing to be hidden forever in the Heart of God and His Immense Silence - only to be called forth to Africa to discover God is more "Mother" than "Father", Christ is
Black, and Christianity must be re-thought and expressed in African colors. There are many kinds of solitude. Another culture is one of them...and so began my hermit journey.

Returning to the Southwest, a new adventure opened up of finding one's Native American tribal roots. God is Red, also. The Light of a Diamond sparkles wisdom in Hindu, Buddhist, and Goddess encounters that expand the mind and consciousness into vast regions of inner and outer space - whispering a song of Eternity.

Dwelling beside an Earth Mother ridge in the shape of a prone woman as the dazzling Son-Sun rises each morning over her chakras, is an awesome experience. She is symbol of the Chumash Western Gate where spirits exit into eternity. How blessed to reside in Big Sur where my childhood opened to a river of paradise waters, and ocean waves of blissful, inundating song.

A sacred mountain becomes the Eye of God and bears one up to the stars and across an ocean on a tsunami wave and dream. Where am I forty years into the journey of Hermitage? ...on a wave...embraced by an Ocean of Light...in the shade of Tahquitz sacred mountain...where the stones are alive... and bid us climb into the heavens and become a dancing star.

Cloud's Story

On that day Cloud was sad,
Huddled within herself,
Her head hung low over the earth.
All the creatures of Earth had a gift to give to life.

She pondered the busy bees at harvest for honey;
The farmers of the fields; the fishers of seas.
Those who gleaned and those who cleaned.
But what was her gift?

People thought her flighty, high-flung and given to dreams,
Lazily drawing pictures of her fancies in the blue sky.
She hung in the air like lamb's wool pulled out in tufts, and thrown in the wind.

She could be scattered here and there, and felt so lost.
And if she was fat and thick, the people scowled at her for obsuring the sun. What was her place in the scheme of things?

First, she thought how she loved to billow, frolicking on the jet stream to follow her dreams.
She was whimsical and given to wonder. Wonder? Wonder!

She noticed with a start how full the creatures looked at their work. There the answer lay! "Something to give, meant something to do with being full," she decided.

She pondered the ways that make her feel fuller more heavy and ready to give.
It so happened on that day that a lot of things were letting off steam, Including cooks, tea kettles, temper tantrums, and machines.

And being the sun was burning especially furiously,
The streams were quite baking and steaming right in their beds,
Wisps appeared like fog over farmer's heads,
And even flower buds burst their seams.
It was quite a sizzler indeed!

It all made her feel quite playful and cheery,
For she could glean all these things.
She put on her best cloud mitt, And went dancing in the fields and valleys, over housetops and huts.

And here and there, she'd hover over a worker pouring over his work.
Catch a scream in midair,
A tear or a frown, anything thrown or cast down,
'Till she had every curl and even hint of vapor in the air.

At last, she tired of her labors.
Feeling heavy laden and sluggish,
Cloud curled up around a mountaintop to .sleep,
Looking quite like a floppy hat,
Tossed about the mountain peak.

Then she drifted within herself,
The day's pictures of events passing quickly before her vision.
She began to feel pent up and ill at ease,
from all the emotions she had gathered.
They burned inside her.

Then suddenly, a thought struck from deep within her, like a flash!
And she lit up! Just like that!
And the people heard it as a clap.

Then another thought rumbled deep inside.
And again she trembled and roared!
And the sound echoed throughout the hills and valleys,
And resounded off the trees.

Now just what was that?
It kind of thrilled her! She realized she had become very dark with all the fury of the people; All their disappointments, frustrations and irritations had built up within. She had taken on all their load and she felt just ready to E X P L O D E ! !

With this thought the energy with her began to spin and whirl. Huge bolts of lightning struck out, and flashed with each realization. And then she became downcast. No! Downpoured!

She was in a downpour, letting go of everything inside of her
With such a din, no thought could enter in.
Beyond thought.
Beyond emotion.
Pure Sound.
A torrent letting loose,
The heavy laden stream, becoming a crystallizing swirling dance.

Flashing through the air, Cloud was ecstatic;
Beside herself in the pure pleasure of giving forth. She felt exhilarated.

Getting so light now, she was hardly seen at all.  As she saw how refreshed and clean, How renewed all life felt in this shower, Through the spray, just as her vision was beginning to fade,
And she felt just like she had dropped into and become a part of EVERYTHING,
A ray of sun shone through her,
And cast a Bow of Splendor of every hue in the air.

As the mouths of thirsty seeds were filled, and they burst their shells.
The tree roots swelled.
The fevers of disease were eased, and tempers cooled.
Rivers and streams babbled joyfully,
And laughed and tumbled down hills and dallies.

Oceans crested and waved.
And Earth smelled fertile and clean.
On that day, Cloud rested in the earth,
As a kiss rests upon a loved one's cheek, Or a child nestled deep in its mother's arms.

And the people, frolicked in the glistening fields, And remembered to play in creation, And felt deep in their hearts refreshed.
And many said, "The gift of Clouds is the rain of being blessed,
The rain to release the pain we all go through.
And in the realization of this gift, All life grew.

Ocean

She sits and gazes upon me
My silent comforter
My sumptuous friend

She wraps her arms around me
Arms a big as the sky
And she nestles me in her bosom
Soothes my ruptured soul

Her waves wash over me
Batter me a bit,  to and fro
Gently shaking from my shoulders
Burdens … that belong to her
She uses them to move her tides,
The ebb and flow, waves tripping
Over one another on their way to shore.

The whoosh of the wind fills my ears
I am quieted by her lullaby
Somewhere between earth and sky
A seagull’s cry pierces the sun’s rays
I would not know this place
Without such trusted friends

Visions fill my senses
… of barefoot girls
… and cotton dresses
Of wheat-like grass billowing to the rhythm of her breath
Of shiny colored glass worn smooth
By her caressing

Tiredness ascends from my body
My awareness is of having been relieved

Ocean, how do you know me?

She laughs at me
A gentle, loving laugh
It is I who have given you life, my child
Your single teardrop is to me
As one breath is to your Spirit
All of this I give to you
So that you may live and grow

These gifts are yours, my child, She whispers
You will never be alone or walk too far away

I am in you
You are of me
You will not forget
Nor ever be forgotten

Silent Partner

His question came to me on a prayer
Sent with love by one who dared
To enter my dreams without any words
Where in my heart I understood

Care for my children, will you with me?
Our children of sky, Earth Mother and Sea
Look to their hearts for all you will need
To travel beside me joyously

I will, I am, We are, you and I
You ask, my friend, and now I see
That we’ve been together all along
Our hearts share a simple song

The song of the children who long to be
Simple, mystical, magical, free
Together or apart, in this world or beyond
My Silent Partner, with you I AM

Gramma's Love Song

I am beauty and grace
A tuft of brown hair
The way it swirls so softly

I am a kaleidoscope of color
I feel the Universe in motion

And I dance among the stars
I sing amidst the songbirds
I swim among the fish

The Sea is by Brother
The Earth is my Home
The Sky my heavenly provider

Brother, bathe my soul
In your deep blue sea
And warm me
by the light of your moon

Rock me gently, Father
I am your precious pearl
